The capital city of Malta is Valletta, named after the French Grandmaster 'La Vallette'. This capital is full of places of interest, where crew can spend a whole day visiting the following
St. John's Cathedral; here you can find the very famous painting by Caravaggio 'The beheading of St. John', as well the tombs of knights of St. John.

Auberges; has many different historical buildings which dates back to the 16th century.

Parliament/Palace of the President: Historical building full of historical riches, tapestries and architectural wonders for both young and old.
Harbour: A breathing view of the Maltese harbour. Enjoy the garden views.
Waterfront: One of the up and coming projects, contributing to the renovation of Valletta. You and your colleagues can enjoy an exquisite lunch by the sea.
Of course a capital does not exist without shopping. Here you can find markets in the early mornings and well known Sunday market, where you can find anything you can imagine.
Mdina - Old capital of Malta, known as the silent city. One of the most beautiful spots on the island comprising of narrow winding ally ways. There you can visit the Mdina dungeons which portray the tortures of the past. Next door is the history museum. To finish of in a pleasent way you must visit Fontanella where you can find the best chocolate cake in Malta. In Mdina you can also see a breathtaking view of half the island a very romantic spot. On the way to Mdina you can pop by to the Arts & Crafts Village in Ta Qali. Here you can find the traditional Malta glan blower.
Mastra Dome: Here one of the greatest miracles happened. During world war 2, the enemie dropped a bomb in the church which was packed with devoted people praying. However the bomb didn't explode. You can still see the deactivated bomb on show. This church also has the 3rd biggest dome in Europe.
Typical Fishing Village. Marsaxlokk. Beautiful village full of fishermen selling their fresh catches. On sunday morning visit the popular market. You can also have lunch eating in one of the best fish restaurants on the island.
Wied iz Zurrieq: A place where you can take a boat ride to many caves. The colour of the water is amazingly light blue. On the wat to Zurrieq you must stop by the prehistoric temples of Mnaydora. They are the oldest monuments one can find on the island.
Sliema & St. Julians: These are the modern parts of the island, where you can find many tourists in various cafes, restaurants. You have the coast beside you where you can swim in the rocky beach area. One of the hotspots in this area is exiles in Sliema where you can enjoy the beach, with cool music & a great crowd just chilling. In the evenings Exiles turns into a trendy bar.
Beaches & Other Places: Golden Bay - Nice beach with golden sand.
Ghadira Beach. A must is the island of Comino. You can take a boat trip for the whole day from Sliema. This boat takes you across Malta to another island called Comino. Here you can find Blue Lagoon, which consists of clear blue sea. The island is very small but you can find a hotel where you can spend a romantic night.
Gozo: This is another island which forms part of the Maltese Islands. here can can spend a whole day. You have to drive to Cirkewwa which is the tip of Malta and catc the ferry to Gozo which takes approx 30 mins. You can go to the capital called Citadella, where you can take a tour in the historical prison, the cathedral and finish off eating traditional Maltese food in one of the restaurants nearby.
Next you can go for a swim in Ramla bay which is the biggest sandy beach in Gozo, followed by a visit to another typical fishing village called Xlendi. If you are interested in nightlife, close to this village you can find one of the best nightclubs in Gozo, which is open air and part of it is in a cave. Infact it is called 'Grotta' (referred to as the cave).
Night Life: In Malta we have a very active nightlife, however many visitors complain that it is frequented by many teenagers. Most of the nightlife is found in one place called Pacevill. Here you can find many bars, pubs, discos and karaoke bars. If you would like to be more adventurous and find an older crowd, get in a taxi and go to Gianpua or Numero.
